My Friend : Ganesha

In my view Lord Vinayagar / Lord Ganesha is the most adaptable god across the globe. The reason : he is least bothered about the various avathars given to him - Be it cricket vinayagar or military vinayagar. No other got would suit such cosmo-form like this gentleman.

For instance Lord rama has to be portrayed only as a person with bow and arrow either in Royal suit or in kadhi clad dress. Rama cannot be portrayed in Jeans pant and Sita cannot be portrayed in salway kameez. The same is true with krishna who cannot be sepeated from Gopiargal or his sudharsana chakra. Similarly Jesus Christ has either to be depicted in cross or in white gown - no other attire is allowed / accepted.

But for vinayagar all dress suits - be it jeans or coat-suit or any other new generation fashion designs. Infact Vinayagar keeps the creativity ALIVE for all of us. He doesnot get angry at all with such "Silmisham's".

One such form is the picture below. Do read this picture carefully : Vinayagar seems to enjoy the company of lots of computer mouse, with one mouse hanging over his head !!! And his real mouse (vahanam) seems to have got annoyed with such sudden change in behaviour.
