Indian E-Book Reader

Bangalore based EC Media has launched India's first e-book reader called WINK. E-books would be available in 15 languages with more than 2,00,000 books. The cost of an e-book starts from Rs.11,500.

But frankly speaking, I have been using SONY E-Book reader for the past one year and following is my experience:
(1) Reading a book and an e-book is different
(2) Though it is fancy to see an ebook, the convenience is indeed lacking
(3) Rather than buying an e-book reader, it would make lots of sense to buy an apple i-pad with 24GB storage space availabe for INR 25000. Atleast you can use the i-pad for reasons beyond e-book.
(4) But for those who donot wish to put in so much money on an i-pad, then you may consider an e-book reader.
