ME and MY BOSS

When I Take a long time to finish, I am slow,
When my boss takes a long time, he is thorough

When I don't do it, I am lazy,
When my boss does not do it, he is busy,

When I do something without being told, I am trying to be smart,
When my boss does the same, he takes the initiative,

When I please my boss, I am apple polishing,
When my boss pleases his boss, he is cooperating,

When I make a mistake, I' am an idiot.
When my boss makes a mistake, he's only human.

When I am out of the office, I am wondering around.
When my boss is out of the office, he's on business.

When I am on a day off sick, I am always sick.
When my boss is a day off sick, he must be very ill.

When I apply for leave, I must be going for an interview
When my boss applies for leave, it's because he's overworked

When I do good, my boss never remembers,
When I do wrong, he never forgets.

Personal Touch

E-mail and texting have made communication instantaneous and easy. But a hand-written letter has a personal touch to it. There is something about ink and paper that an email will simply never replace. This print advertisement for the Australia Post successfully conveys that message.

Be a Leader and Create Road for others to walk / run / drive

It would be cool if you could shake hands with your friend in another country without a long journey or jetlag. International Handshake is an awesome example of an Out of Bounds photo manipulation concept.

A fascinating photo manipulation where the woman’s flowing hairs are shown as horses. The peace and calmness on woman’s face and the running wild horses on the other hand symbolizes the constant thought process going on in our mind. Although outwardly we might seem to be calm and relaxed. A very original idea..

Periya Idathu Samacharam : No comments

Enthusiasm knows no boundries. And it is very true in Sports which was rightly proved in recent IPL matches. Media which could have written pages after pages on this particular moment played a low key - possibly at the instance of High command.

It was the Semifinal match of IPL played by Mumbai Indians, who won the thriller. This team was so lousy last year. It was turned around by the owner of the team - Nita Ambani - wife of India's Richest Man - Mukesh Ambani. She took personal care - right from the T-Shirt design to various motivating efforts. And it paid off - sometimes in excess.

After the match, Nita came running in the field to congratulate the player. Harbajan Singh hugged and lifted this lady just like he would do to any other player.

But after this incident, there was a long pause. And in the finals NITA was not seen in the visible gallery. Due to the absence of her motivation, She was prompt for the finals presentation ceremony, in which she distinctly distanced from 'The Mumbai Indian'. Stikingly Mukesh Ambani was the person who rubbed shoulders with Mumbai Indians.

No doubt Indians are known for Pocessivness.

Accidental Shot

I was on my way to a meeting at a Heritage Town in South Tamilnadu. The Venue was in a hotel on the Main Road. While Climbing up the stairs, my eyes accidentally fell on the open backyard. Immediately I took a shot of the scene. (plz click the photos below)

Lots of Bottles ( I hope you understand what bottles ) were lined up and arranged in a pattern. I was wondering whether all these bottles are out of consumption from the hotel or from some other place. Believe me this shot was not from a Arasu Bar. This is in the backyard of one hotel. Then calculate the consumption in all hotels in India.

It is clear that the liquor consuming population is on the rise in upcountry markets too. That shows the discretionary spending.

30 Seconds Speech by Coca Cola CEO : Mr.Bryan Dyson

"Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them - Work, Family, Health, Friends and Spirit and you're keeping all of these in the Air.

You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back.

But the other four Balls - Family, Health, Friends and Spirit - are made of glass. If you drop one of these: they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for it."
